The
Isle of Arran is reached from Ardrossan on the Ayrshire coast, with
regular sailings every day by Cal-Mac ferry. A smaller ferry also sails
to Lochranza at the north end of the Island from Claonaig on Kintyre.
If travelling by car booking is highly advisable on the Ardrossan /
Brodick route during the summer.

Turn right from the ferry
terminal and take the A841 coast road through Brodick for two
miles, then taking the B880 ( to Blackwaterfoot
).
Once in the Shiskine area ( after 8 miles ) look for the local school & then the church. Drive past the church down the hill, turn the corner and you will soon come to a line of houses by the roadside on your left. This is Torr-Righe. I will meet you here and take you to the cottage.
